Bass Master Elite Angler Bull Riding & Bass Fishing; two sports with nothing in common. But for Brian Clark, they are his past, present & future, the fuel of his competitive drive. Brian started his rodeo career at an early age and moved his way through the ranks landing him in the Professional world of Bull Riding. He competed in the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Assoc.), PBR (Professional Bull Riders), UPRA (United Professional Rodeo Assoc.), IPRA (International Professional Rodeo Assoc.) & CRA (Cowboy Rodeo Assoc.). In winter of 1999, Brian suffered a bull riding injury that required total elbow reconstruction. Then in 2003 Brian's nightmare came full circle when a mirror image accident gave his elbow one last 2 ton blow. With the medical advice of Dr. Tandy Freeman Brian decided to hang up his rope in order to salvage the function of his right elbow. But there was one thing Brian couldn't give up; his thirst for competition! In 2004, Brian started fishing in local North Texas tournament trails His 1st year of tournament fishing landed him multiple 1st place wins, three Angler of the Year titles, and one Championship title. The following year proved even more promising with numerous 1st place wins, three additional Angler of the Year titles, and three more Championship titles. In 2006 Brian began fishing a new trail, the Bassmaster Weekend Series. His 1st year on the trail Brian qualified for the 2007 Bassmaster Opens and the Bassmaster Southern Regional Championship where he had a 8th place finish. 2007 was a landmark year in Brian's fishing career. Not only was this his 1st year fishing the Opens, but the year he won his 1st Bassmaster title! Brian had another landmark accomplishment that year when he qualified for and won the Bassmaster Weekend Series Texas State Championship! Perhaps the biggest win of the 2007 season was qualifying for the 2008 Bassmaster Elite Series.
